Graduate Certificate in Management of Public Healthcare Services
The Graduate Certificate in Management of Public Healthcare Services is a five-course (14-15 credit hours) curriculum that is flexible enough to meet the needs of both pre-career and in-service individuals. Taking only one class per term, this certificate program may be completed in 16 months. Should program graduates seek to continue their studies, certificate credits transfer directly into the master's in public administration degree requirements.

This graduate certificate is designed to meet the professional needs of managers working in health care field including hospitals, public health departments, nursing homes, managed care agencies, insurance agencies, home health care systems and private medical practices. Individuals changing from entry-level, non-professional, professional or technical roles to managerial roles will find this certificate program beneficial.

The curriculum is designed to provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge in public healthcare services as well as offer enough flexibility for students to pursue individual interests. Students must complete three required courses and select two of the electives listed below.
