EMU's Independent Learning (IL) program allows you to earn academic credit without classroom attendance and at your own pace. IL is for you if you're comfortable learning independently as self-discipline is essential.

Course materials are provided via EMU–Online; purchase textbooks on your own. You'll work through the course materials and submit assignments through EMU–Online. Most courses require a proctored final exam.
