Graduate Certification in Nonprofit Management

The Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management is a five-course (14-15 credit hours) curriculum that is flexible enough to meet the needs of both pre-career and in-service individuals. Taking only one class per term, this certificate program may be completed in 16 months. Should program graduates seek to continue their studies, certificate credits transfer directly into the master's in public administration degree requirements as well as the master’s in accounting, master’s in social work, master’s in liberal studies or MBA programs. Classes are small and taught by exceptional faculty who have advanced degrees, do applied research and are closely connected with the nonprofit community in southeast Michigan.

Career Opportunities
This graduate certificate is designed for executive directors, program managers, consultants and public administration professionals who want to develop competencies and peer networks to strengthen community organizations that, in turn, improve the quality of life for citizens.
